Dear Parents,

I hope that you and your family have enjoyed the summer break. I’m very excited to be teaching Year 3 again this year, with a fantastic class. I hope that your child enjoys the excit-ing year of learning ahead! Mrs Brown will be our TA in class this year.

Here you will find all the important information for this term. Please do not hesitate to book an appointment if you wish to come in and discuss anything further. I look forward to working with you this year.

Reading

Children must read 5 times a week to receive a commitment token. Please initial and tick the reading on the reading menu. An additional token will be received if they choose to read some of the other options on the reading menu.

Home Learning

Homework will be set on a Friday and due in the following Thursday.

Complete 3 x 15 minutes a week of maths home-work at www.symphonymaths.co.uk

Login details can be found in your child's homework folder.

Learn the weekly spellings set each week.

PE

PE will be on a Tuesday and Wednesday.

Key Dates

KS2 Harvest Festival at Hellingly Church– Tuesday 10th October at 9:30am.

Please ensure your child has an appropriate PE kit in school all week. This should include: a plain coloured house t– shirt, shorts and trainers or plimsolls. During the winter months it should contain a separate jumper and jogging bottoms .
