Welcome to Comets

Mrs Potter & Mrs Hedges

Dear Parents,

I hope that you and your family have enjoyed the summer break. The children were full of stories this week about their holidays, exciting days out, wobbly teeth and tales of eating ice cream! I’m very excited to be teaching Year 2  again this year  and hope that your child enjoys their final year in Key Stage One.  Mrs Hedges will be our TA in class this year.  We are both so impressed with how wonderfully they have settled in  so far and  we are looking forward to having such an amazing and hardworking class this year.

We also have an additional member of the class who I am sure you will soon get to know… Paddington! Each Friday a child who has impressed us during the week will be sent home with him. He comes complete with his very own book bag to store his book. All I ask is that you encourage your child to write in his book themselves about his weekend sleepover.

Here you will find all the important information for this Term. Please do not hesitate to book an  appointment if you wish to come in and discuss anything further. I look forward to working with you this year.
