Dear Parents,

I hope that you and your family have enjoyed the summer break. The children were full of stories this week about their holidays, exciting days out, summer adventures and tales of eating ice-cream! I’m very excited to be teaching Year 1  again this year with such a wonderful class and hope that your child enjoys their time in Key Stage One. Mrs Wood will be our TA in class this year.

Read Write Inc. will start on Monday 11th September. Your child will be sent home with an activity daily related to the book they are reading. This activity will support their reading fluency and help them with the activities in school the following day.

Here you will find all the important information for this term. Please do not hesitate to book an appointment if you wish to come in and discuss anything further. I look forward to working with you this year.
